Angry Asante Kotoko supporters storm team bus after disastrous CAF Confederation Cup exit

Asante Kotoko supporters raged the group’s transport as they spilled out their resentment and dissatisfaction following the tragic Caf Confederation Cup exit on account of Ivorian side FC San Pedro.

The supporters who headed out with the group to Abidjan for the subsequent leg responded furiously to the destruction as they intensely scrutinized the players and mentor for leaving the challenge.

Kotoko discarded 1-0 first-leg bit of leeway to leave the challenge 2-1 on total after they tumbled to a 2-0 thrashing on Sunday.

Kotoko needed to complete the game with ten men after defender Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu got sent off with two yellow cards.

Chieck Soumaro gave the hosts the lead in the opening moment to see them tie on total and that agitated the double cross African victors.

Three minutes to regulation time, San Pedro found the back of the net to nail Kotoko’s casket.

Kotoko started this current season’s African battle in the Caf Champions League where a first-round misfortune to Etoile Sahel of Tunisia constrained a downgrade to the second-level Confederation Cup title.
