‘Sue Kennedy Agyapong at the court, he is empty’- Kweku Baako Jnr advices Obinim and others

Editor in Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr has adviced that, Ghanaians should start suing individuals or groups at the court of law if they deem information and allegations people spread about them are false.

He made this statements on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV hosted by Randy Abbey.

The Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide won a defamatory suit against Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong.

Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr was aggrieved that the MP and businessman had defamed him.

At the court, the journalist sought justice from the High Court which ruled in his favour on Friday 26th June,2020.

The court ordered Mr Agyapong to pay the damage of ¢100,000 with the cost of ¢30,000.

The court also gave the MP 30 days to retract and apologise three times on the platforms he used to defame Kweku Baako.

But Kweku Baako on Metro TV this morning July 02nd,2020 said:

“I don’t want to use certain words this morning. All his [Kennedy Agyapong] allegations and evidences fell flat at the court.”

“Some of the people he wanted them to serve as witness at the court couldn’t appear. Everything he said were pure lies,” he added.

“Look, I have come to understand that the media space, graphic, radio , TV and the rest are not space to make your arguments.”

“Some think they are so big and untouchable but when you see them in court, its a pity.”

“They are so empty. They don’t produce anything tangible for the court.”

Maybe Obinim, Nigel Gaisie and others can form a team and go and see Uncle kweku Baako on how to sue Kennedy Agyalong in court and win if ‘they gat nerves.’
